Anand College of Pharmacy organized Guest lecture on ZOOM PORTAL
Anand College of Pharmacy organized a guest lecture of Mr. Md Shahid and Mr. Mayank Pachauri (Manager (Operation), Spinco Biotech Pvt.Ltd.) at Zoom Portal for B. Pharm (3rd year and final year) students at 11:00 on 20th April 2020, Monday. He spoke on the topic “HPLC Principle and its Trouble Shooting”.
This talk was focused at faculty, researchers and B.Pharm students to explain Instrumentation and challenges in separation of drug from HPLC. It provided a platform for discussion on History, Principle, instrumentation and applications of HPLC by interactive session. This session comprised of sharing all practical aspects broadly including do’s and don’ts in Pharma Industry. It was a long session until almost 2 hrs. More than 75 students and staff participated in the guest lecture. An overwhelming response of the participants from students and staff was seen during the talk.
Prof. (Dr) K. J. Gohil, Dean, Anand College of Pharmacy, SGI was glad that important events like knowledge sharing & online lectures are continued in this time of national emergency due to COVID-19 & students are enthusiastically participated. Dean congratulated the event coordinator & all participants for the same.
Dr. Pankaj Verma (Dy. Registrar and Asso. Prof., Pharmaceutics) was the coordinator of the event. This lecture was followed by an open discussion about many issues related to working of HPLC. He thanked the Guest speaker for providing his valuable time. As these online modes of teaching and learning were the only way out for students owing to the lockdown imposed to fight the Coronavirus outbreak.
